Experiences
Bring your voucher to our boats on Bancroft Gardens on the day of your visit and your voucher will be accepted by the crew. Vouchers must show the serial number, pin number and expiry date for them to be accepted.
Afternoons can become busy so please allow extra time if you have other experiences booked.
Virgin experiences offer a number of packages combined with our popular 30 minute River Cruises.
Voucher Details
You will receive one or two vouchers (if booked as a combination) and all you need to do is simply present your Avon Boating voucher to the crew on the boat:
- Trips commence from 10.30am and every 30 minutes subsequently (More frequent departures may be added at peak times).
- All experiences booked with Virgin include cancellation indemnity.
- Vouchers must show the serial number, pin number and expiry date for them to be accepted.
Our River Cruises take place on traditional Edwardian Launches, cruise downstream past the famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Holy Trinity Church, before turning around and passing under the 15th century Clopton Bridge, and into the countryside. All explained with our exclusive audio tour* freely available onboard the vessel.
If you have a cruise combined with another experience you may use the two parts separately on different days, there is no requirement for both parts to be used on the same day as long as they are used within their expiry dates. You will receive two vouchers, one for each venue.
The combinations currently include an Afternoon Tea at the Arden Hotel, A visit to Shakespeare’s School Room, or Wine Tasting at Veeno.
Please Note – *Please note on occasions of High Water, particularly after severe rain periods, we may not be able to run the 30 minute trip as normal as we cannot pass through the bridges.
Please check with us on the day or the day before if there is a chance this has happened, if you have booked with another venue in town you will still be able to partake in that experience and use the voucher for us another day within the expiry date.
