Rowing Boats

Our fleet of self hire rowing boats is one of the largest in the country. Our Rowing Boats are lovingly maintained and we are proud to watch people enjoying them throughout the season.

Our trained boating staff are always on hand to give you a quick tutorial and information on the river. Simply take a trip out into the countryside or to the theatre and the church,  or hire for longer and enjoy a picnic along the river...

Prices

Rowing Boats, Punts and Canoes (by the hour):

• Adults: £5.00
• Children: £3.00
• Min. Charge: £10.00

Boat Capacities

• Single Rowing Boats – up to 4 people
• Double Rowing Boats – up to 6 people
• Punts – up to 6 people
• 'Big Birtha' – up to 8 people (Large Double Rowing Boat)
• 'Thelma' – up to 16 people (Large Rowing Boat)

Hire of Watermen

Treat yourself and hire an experienced waterman to row or punt you up and down the river or arrive at the theatre in style:

• £10.00 per person per ½ hour
• Minimum Charge £20.00
• N.B. Please book watermen in advance
